He made an appearance in “The D&D Vortex,” The Big Bang Theory season 12 episode 16 from February 2019. In a season 2 episode of Dave in 2021, Abdul-Jabbar makes a cameo appearance as himself. He also had an episode titled for him in which he featured.

In the Netflix movie Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery from 2022, Abdul-Jabbar makes a cameo as himself.
