He began practicing at a local cricket academy in his hometown and honed his cricketing skills.
Noor Ahmed finally got into the limelight as he made his domestic debut for Kabul Region in 2019, April. He showcased his all-round cricketing skills and mesmerizing spin bowling prowess in the domestic circuit.
Slowly, he rose through the ranks establishing himself as one of the core members of the Kabul Region domestic team.
Noor Ahmed also caught the recognition of several Afghanistan selectors due to his consistent performances in domestic cricket.
He finally got the major breakthrough as he earned his maiden call-up for Afghanistan cricket team in 2022, June. Noor Ahmed debuted against Zimbabwe.
